PADI Open Water Dive Course

Course fee HK$4500

Full Open Water Course is approximately including Theory, Confined Water training (pool or sheltered bay with shallow water) and Actual dives.

  • Theory: Cover 5 Knowledge Reviews, 4 Quizzes and a Written Exam.
  • Confined Water training (pool or sheltered bay with shallow water).
  • Open Water training: 4 dives in total.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course

Course fee HK$3500

  • Theory: 5 Knowledge Reviews, 2 Cores dives : Deep, Underwater Navigation.

and the 3 Electives

  • Open Water training: 5 boat dives in total.  2-3 dives each day.

  • PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Manual
  • All necessary equipment rental during the course
  • Certification Card, after all requirements are met
PADI EFR (Emergency First Response)

Course fee HK$1300

  • Primary Care (CPR) – This course teaches you the steps and techniques for handling life-threatening emergencies. You’ll practice eight skills for aiding patients who aren’t breathing, have no heartbeat, may have a spinal injury, may be in shock or who may have serious bleeding. You’ll learn to how to perform CPR and continue to monitor the patient, so that you provide every possible chance of survival while waiting for emergency medical services to arrive.
  • Secondary Care (First Aid) – Because many medical conditions are not life-threatening and emergency medical services are sometimes delayed or unavailable, this course teaches you how to provide first aid that eases pain and reduces the risk of further harm. You’ll learn to assess a variety of injuries and illnesses and practice bandaging and splinting.
  • Care for Children – This course allows participants to learn, practice and apply emergency care skills specific to helping infants and children with medical emergencies. It’s designed for those who work with children or are likely to have to respond to emergencies involving youngsters. This course is often integrated with Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) courses.
PADI Rescue Diver course

Course fee HK$3700

The PADI Rescue Diver course prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, minor and major, using a variety of techniques. Through knowledge development and rescue exercises, you learn what to look for and how to respond. During rescue scenarios, you put into practice your knowledge and skills.

Lecture: 3 sessions to cover 5 Knowledge Reviews and 1 written exam.

Open Water training: 10 exercises and 2 scenarios over 2 days

Topics include:

  • Self rescue
  • Recognizing and managing stress in other divers
  • Emergency management and equipment
  • Rescuing panicked divers
  • Rescuing unresponsive divers

Course included:

  • PADI Rescue Diver Manual, Diving Accident Management Work-slate.
  • All necessary equipment rental during the course
  • Certification Card
PADI Divemaster

Course fee HK$7500

The PADI Divemaster course teaches you to be a leader and take charge of dive activities. Through knowledge development sessions, waterskills exercises and workshops, and hands-on practical assessment, you develop the skills to organize and direct a variety of scuba diving activities.

Lecture: 9 chapters

Confined water training: Unlimited as required by our professional instructor within a year

Open water training: Unlimited as required by our professional instructor within a year

  • The role and characteristics of the PADI Divemaster
  • Supervising dive activities and assisting with student divers
  • Diver safety and risk management
  • Divemaster conducted programs and specialized skills
  • Business of diving and your career
  • Awareness of the dive environment
  • Dive setup and management
  • Mapping an open water site
  • Conducting dive briefings
  • Organizing a search and recovery project and a deep dive
  • Conducting a scuba review and skin diver course
  • Assisting with Discover Scuba Diving and leading Discover Local Diving programs

  • Divemaster Crewpack is at extra cost

PADI EFR Instructor

Course fee HK$4500

Your role as an EFR Instructor is to be a coach that creates a positive learning environment. Along with learning how to structure and organize EFR courses, you practice:

  • Presenting course content.
  • Encouraging self-discovery in students.
  • Evaluating student understanding and skill mastery during hands-on skills practice.
  • Managing effective scenario-based learning experiences.

Course Content:

  • Lecture + skill mastery + evaluating student understanding + written exam, etc. as standard required

Excluded:

  • EFR Instructor Manual
  • Care for Children Instructor Manual
  • EFR instructor application fee (upon successful completion) and thereafter annual membership fee

PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor

Course fee HK$12500

The IDC teaches you to conduct all PADI core courses. You’ll be able to organize and present information, conduct skill development sessions and control open water dives. Basically, you become a better public speaker and get really good at demonstrating skills while watching out for student diver safety. Key topics include:

  • PADI Standards and Procedures for courses you can teach with in water workshops
  • Learning, Instruction and the PADI System
  • Risk Management and Diver Safety
  • The Business of Diving and your role as an instructor
  • Marketing Diving and Sales Counseling

Course Content:

  • Lecture: As required by the standard
  • Confined water training: As required by the standard
  • Open water training: As required by the standard

Included:

  • Training fee, Pool entrance fee, and boat fee

Excluded:

  • IDC Crewpack is at extra cost
  • Instructor Examination fee (pay to PADI directly)

PADI IDC Staff Instructor

Course fee HK$5500

After a preassessment of your instructor-level knowledge of dive theory, exemplary dive skills and role-model presentation techniques, you’ll participate in these sessions:

  • Instructor development standards, procedures and curriculum
  • How to organize and conduct the PADI Assistant Instructor course
  • The psychology of evaluation and counseling
  • Evaluating knowledge development, confined water and open water teaching presentations

Plus, you’ll get to audit an IDC or practice teaching many curriculum components.

As an IDC Staff Instructor, you can independently teach PADI Assistant Instructor courses as well as assist with IDCs and other instructor-level continuing education courses.
